Three projects to create a property

Lindsay was asked to update a home and design a swimming pool overlooking Narragansett Bay in Bristol Rhode Island. For her client to see and approve the pool size and shape, she spray painted the outline onto the winter landscape. This visualization for decision making enabled construction to begin in early spring so the pool could be used in August.

A few years later, the client requested a guesthouse be designed as their own more private home, so the original house could be devoted to friends and family.

Along the road all is discrete and low key

Bristol is a neighborly place - no big fences were necessary. In fact passers-by can peak through an old wrought iron gate to glimpse part of the pool and see the bay beyond.

Last but no least, a garage was replaced by a new two story structure that houses a caretaker apartment upstairs with workshop, laundry and catering facilities below. Lindsay incorporated an inconspicuous outdoor kitchen and a vegetable garden that had long been on the Clients’ wish list.
